Olivier Raineteau work aims at better understanding the capacity of the central nervous system to heal and repair after an injury. In the recent years his research developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich has focused on the signals and transcription factors that influence stem cells proliferation, differentiation and fate acquisition in the postnatal forebrain. He has recently obtained a Research Director position at INSERM, and will further develop his research at the Stem Cell and Brain Research Institute in Lyon.
