Computational Models of executive functions

What are the computational principals behind the rapid and flexible organisation of behaviour ? Computational modelling is one invaluable way to clearly describe and test the complex functional properties of large scale networks.

The NEF team has important interactions with PF Dominey's team. Mehdi Khamassi is at the interface of the two teams and develops our main current project : EXPLORE.

The project aims at developping tools for model-based analyses of behavioural and neurobiological data, and to develop a neural network based on known anatomical and neurophysiological data, and on data obtained by the NEF team. The model is embodied in a robotic system.
